The Spiritual Roots of the Tarot details the theology of love captured in the images of the major arcana of the Marseille Tarot. In his presentation Russell will be revealing insights about the cards that take it from being a tool for divination to a map for guiding people through the Dark Night of the Soul and on through the Treasury of Light.

Russell Sturgess had his third book published by Vermont Spirituality and Esoteric Publishing House, Inner Traditions; the publishers of Richard Smoley’s latest book, A Theology of Love. Russell’s book was favourably reviewed in the Spring 2021 edition of Quest, The Journal of the American Theosophical Society.
